MASSENA -- The music booster club Massena Music Friends will kick off another school year of fund raising, advocacy and support for Massena music programs with a “member rally” Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. at the Italian-American Club on Beach Street.
Volunteers are needed for many projects big and small throughout the year, from organizing fundraisers to ushering at concerts; from attending Board of Education meetings to baking cookies.
In addition to discussing plans for the year, the member rally is also a social occasion, giving music parents and others who want to support our young musicians an opportunity to meet, talk and get to know one another.
MMF membership committee co-chairs Pat Tubbs and Suzanne Daye will preside at the rally.
Refreshments will be provided.
