MASSENA -- The Relay For Life Massena/Louisville planning committee is holding its second meeting Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 5:30 p.m., at the Massena Moose Lodge, 4 Ames St.
The committee needs of more volunteers for the Relay event. The public is invited to attend the meeting or comment on the committee Facebook page, Massena/Louisville Relay For Life, with any ideas or input for organizing the event.
The second annual Color Walk/Run 5k For Relay For Life Massena/Louisville registration forms are available on the Facebook 5k event page, www.northernrunner.org and from any committee member.
The committee is also planning a dunk tank fundraiser with a borrowed tank from E&J Rentals in North Bangor. The Massena Police Department has volunteered to provide one person to participate. Other volunteers are needed.
To sponor this year’s Relay, contact any Relay For Life participant or go online to www.relayforlife.org\massenany.
To participate in this year’s Relay, register at www.relayforlife.org or contact Denise Furnace 315-250-5491. There are fundraising tools available such as scratch off card, donation containers and selling luminaries for $10 or 3/$25. When you raise a $100 you become a member of the Hope Club and eligible for a Relay For Life t-shirt.
