MASSENA – The Massena fifth annual Harvest Festival featuring children’s activities, displays, raffles, and more, will be held Saturday, Sept 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. downtown.

Activities will include a free pumpkin painting for children under 12, a life size Candy Land game, a children’s craft activity, a Seaway valley ambulance on display, balloons, balloon animals, and face painting by IYQ Balloon Décor and Cubby T Clown & Co., and a chair massage from Simply You Wellness Spa.

Raffles and prizes will include a big money raffle and quilt raffle at St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Church, raffle tickets sold by the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, a Kindle Fire Raffle by the Massena Public Library, raffle tickets and cookies from Team Memory Keepers, and a Cape Air enter-to-win ticket drawing.

The Massena Kiwanis, Massena Public Library, Friends of the Robert Moses State Park Nature Center, Cape Air, St. Lawrence Association of Paranormal Science, Massena Rescue Squad, and St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES will have information booths.

The event is sponsored by the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce. Many other local businesses will also have booths with merchandise for sale.
