MASSENA -- The Massena Central High School Varsity Cheerleaders will host the annual cheer competition Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m.
The cheerleaders recently won second place at “Jamfest” in Syracuse.
The cheerleaders are coached by Jessalyn Clary and Stacey Munson.
The team is captained by Crystal Nevin, Breonna Mitchell and Jeanette Rochefort.
Other team members include Alexandra Lett, Elizabeth Palmer, Kara Lashomb, Marissa Furnace, Lyndsay Brunet, Cheyenne Larmore, Brittany VanTassel, Kacey Blair, Cassidy Peets, Alysa Babcock, Kelsey Gladding, Natasha Mossow, Michaela Herne, Mackenzie
Perkins, Morgin Dickerson, Emily Lagarry and Emme Brault.
Lisbon, Ogdensburg, Saranac Lake, Gouverneur, Heuvelton, Beekmantown and
Moira are scheduled to compete.
The concession stand will be open and a 50/50 raffle and Chinese Auction will be held. The cost for admission will be $3 for adults, $2 for students and under 5 free.
