MASSENA -- The Massena Chamber of Commerce’s annual holiday decorating contest dates have been extended until noon on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Judging at both residential and local businesses will be done Dec. 16 to 18 after 5 p.m.
The contest is free and open to all residents and businesses in the Greater Massena area. Anyone wishing to enter the contest must contact the chamber office at 769-3525 or chamber@massenachamber.com with name, address and phone number by noon Dec. 11. Residential contestants and local businesses will be judged separately based on originality, use of lighting design and overall property presentation.
Winners will be contacted and announced via the newspaper, radio, chamber website and a Massena Chamber Connections email blast.
Winners will receive a sign to place in their yards and storefronts designating them as winners of the 2013 Massena Decorating Contest.
