MASSENA – A photography contest will be held as part of the 5th annual Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce Winter Carnival. Photographers are asked to capture “Winter Magic of the North Country”
Photos submitted are to be scenic views of the North Country and must be taken within 90 miles of the Massena and submitted to the Massena Chamber Office no later than Jan. 10, 2014.
All photos will be on display at the chamber office, with an opportunity for the general public to vote for their favorite Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office will remain open until 8 p.m. Jan. 21.
All judging and voting must be completed by noon Jan. 23.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in adults and children categories.
Winners in the adult category will receive $100, $75 & $50. Winners in the children’s category will receive gift certificates from the St. Lawrence Centre Mall for $100, $75 & $50.
