MASSENA -- Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten registration is scheduled at Massena Central School for the 2018-19 school year.
For convenience, parents can register their child at any building -- regardless of what school their child will eventually attend.
Registration times are March 5, from 8:30-3 p.m., at Jefferson Elementary; March 6, from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m., at Madison Elementary; March 7, 12:30-7 p.m. at Nightengale Elementary; and March 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at HeadStart.
Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before Dec. 1 and pre-K children must be four years old on or before Dec. 1. All children must reside in the school district.
To register bring a child’s birth certificate, current immunization record, and proof of residency. Pre-K children must have proof of lead screening. The child does not have to be present for registration.
To save time when registering, download the registration packet on the district's website.
On the website, navigate over the left column, click on Parent Resources, then click “Enroll a Student."
A packet may be mailed to parents if they call the elementary office: Jefferson, 315-764-3730; Madison, 315-764-3740; or Nightengale, 315-764-3750.
