MASSENA -- The Massena Artists Association is taking submissions for its 2014 spring art exhibit.
It is open to all artists, all media, and all subjects.
Everyone who has created artwork that they’d like to show to the community is welcome to submit their work.
It is open to all ages.
All submissions must be turned in May 17 at the Massena Public Library between 10 and 11 a.m.
The opening reception is May 20 at 6:30 p.m., pieces will stay up until May 30 and can be picked up the following day.
It is not juried, all work that is properly framed and wired will be shown.
Because of limited space, work should be no larger than 40 inches in any dimension.
Two-dimensional work must be framed and have a wire attached for hanging.
Works on paper should be matted and framed under glass or plexiglass to protect the surface of the work. Larger pieces should be glazed with plexiglass to reduce the weight and fragility of the work.
MAA members and artists who have exhibited in recent MAA juried exhibits should have received application forms in the mail.
