MASSENA -- The 32nd Annual St Lawrence Bowfishing Championship is June 8 to 10 at the AMVETS Riverfront Campground, Frego Road.

First prize is $1,000 and the top three places win cash awards.

The tournament fee is $30 per person. Registration deadline is midnight Friday, June 8 at the AMVETS.

For camping reservations you can call 250-6904. Camping is $10 a day for camper/electric or $5 a day for tent/non-electric.

The AMVETS serve spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 8 at $8 per person. It is open to the public.

They will also be serving hamburgers and hot dogs, and they will have chicken wings at $6 a dozen Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday morning there will be breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. The cost is $6 per person.

All are welcome all weekend long.
