CANTON -- A new road-racing event, “The Maple Run,” will debut April 22 featuring a half marathon and 5K at Taylor Park Road. The cost of the 5K is $20 and $30 for the half marathon. Early-bird pricing is available for those who register by Jan. 31.
The run celebrates the end of winter in the North Country.
Half marathon participants will receive a custom race medal, and all race participants will receive a shirt and maple product. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit local cross-country teams.
