GOUVERNEUR -- A Maple Expo will be held Jan. 25 at the Gouverneur High School, 113 East Barney St. at 8:15 a.m.
The cost is $15 per person and includes a morning snack, lunch, four classes, and handouts. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m.
Class topics will include beginner maple production, wood fire evaporators, management practices for tubing, woodlot safety, marketing maple products, and more.
The expo is presented by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, St. Lawrence County Maple Producer’s, and Gouverneur FFA.
