WINTHROP -- Mandaville Camp and Retreat Center, 165 Sheldon Rd., will celebrate its 40th year of offering year-round camp ministry programs and services in the weekend of October 3 and 4.
Friday evening there will be an outdoor reception with desserts and beverages served. Guest speakers, special music, stories and tours will highlight the evening activities.
On Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., a family fun day will offer hayrides, a corn maze, face painting, bounce house, family photos, crafts and an archery contest for all ages.
The Friday evening event is free and Saturday’s fun day is $10 for adults and free for ages 16 and under.
Event organizers are seeking those with connections to Mandaville’s past.
