OGDENSBURG -- Hospice of the North Country is taking reservations through April 4 for its Tastes on the River brunch.
The event is slated for April 13 the Gran View restaurant at 11:30 a.m., with seatings every half hour until 2:30 p.m.
Cost is $40 per person.
Entrees include Tasmanian salmon with shiitake vinaigrette served with buckwheat noodles and spicy vegetables; pan-seared airline chicken breast over spring risotto with ramps, asparagus and morel mushrooms, garnished with crisp pancetta and parmigiano reggiano; spring risotto as the vegetarian entrée; and North Country surf and turf featuring smoked bacon wrapped Kilcoyne beef tenderloin with pan jus, hazelnut-crusted walleye with sweet maple soy, grilled asparagus and wild rice cake.
Call Hospice weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to make a reservation, 265-3105.
Include entree choice and two requests for seating times.
