MADRID -- The ecumenical Thanksgiving service of the Madrid-Waddington Clergy Association will be held Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Bucks Bridge Community Church, 2927 County Route 14.
The entire offering will go to feed the hungry in our community, and attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item. Rev. David Piatt, pastor of Waddington United Methodist Church, who also serves the Ogdensburg UMC, will preach.
Other congregations participating include, from Chipman, the Scotch Presbyterian Church; from Madrid, the United Church of Madrid, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, and Christian Fellowship Center; and from Waddington, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the First Presbyterian Church, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, and the United Methodist Church of Waddington.
