Trucks on display at last year’s event
MADRID -- The Antique Tractor Club of America Northern Empire State Chapter is hosting the Francis E. Waslsh Border Show at the St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum, 1755 State Rte. 345, from Aug. 15 to 17.
On Friday, there will be a truck parade at 5 p.m. starting at the museum and ending at the Ole Smokehouse restaurant.
Saturday will feature a slow truck race at 2 p.m. at the museum.
All weekend long, there will be trucks of all sorts and sizes on display, along with a sand pile with toy trucks for children.
There will also be food and beverages for sale, along with raffles and 50/50 drawings.
There is no fee to show a truck at the museum and dash plaques will be given to the first 75.
The museum will be open each day of the event from 8 a.m. to dark, with no admission fee but donations will be accepted.
