MADRID — St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau will host a reception for new state Farm Bureau President David Fisher, Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m. at the Community Center, state Highway 345.
Fisher and his family run Mapleview Dairy, a fourth generation farm in Madrid.
Prior to becoming president, Fisher served the last five years as the District 7 representative, with a seat on the New York Farm Bureau Board of Directors, and was a long-time member of the St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
He is the first state Farm Bureau president to come from the North County.
The public is invited to attend.
