MADRID -- The Town of Madrid water district will be flushing the hydrant system at 10 p.m. Thursday Oct. 18.

The purpose of this program is to ensure the water districts’ fire hydrants are in good working order and to clean the water mains.

If you experience any discoloration of water, let your cold water faucet run until it clears. If it does not clear please call the town offices on Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 322-5760.
