MADRID – The Madrid Dam Music Series will host Steelin' Country Wednesday, July 26, from 6-8 p.m. at community park.
The Lisbon-based group consists of Kirk Robinson on pedal steel guitar, Michelle Robinson on vocals and guitar, Terry Robinson on guitar, Josh Barkley on bass and keyboards, Alex Hammond on percussion and vocals and Dale Planty on guitar and vocals.
The band plays "real country" music from the past, along with several original compositions.
Copies of their new album, “Songs Mama Loved,” a classic-country album featuring original and cover songs, will be available.
There are no entrance or parking fees.
Donations for the next music series are welcome.
Concession refreshments will be available at the show.
Local artisans will showcase their talents.
Intermission will feature two auctions to raise funds for a new band stand.
Any rain or soggy parking relocation announcements will be posted on the Madrid Dam Music Series Facebook page.
