CANTON - "Music for Halloween" is the theme for the next organ recital at the lunch hour in St. Lawrence University's Gunnison Memorial Chapel, featuring Musician-in-Residence Sondra Goldsmith Proctor. It will take place at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.
Those attending are encouraged to bring their lunch to eat while enjoying the music.
The program will include transcriptions for the organ from three orchestral works: Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, by Edvard Grieg; Pictures at an Exhibition, by Modest Moussorgsky; and Carnival of the Animals, by Camille Saint-Saëns.
