POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital will host its monthly “Partnering in Your Care” monthly educational luncheon series on Tuesday, June 5. The event will take place from noon to p.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Rooms A & B at the Hospital’s main campus, located at 50 Leroy Street in Potsdam.
The topic of this month’s luncheon is, “Infection Prevention at CPH: Our Commitment to Keep You Healthy and Infection Free.” Nancy Wood, Infection Prevention Specialist, will share information on how to minimize the risks of developing a hospital-acquired infection and the factors associated with transmission of community-acquired Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Wood will also demonstrate and explain the importance of proper hand hygiene.
Lunch and refreshments will be served.
