OGDENSBURG -- The “Mare’s Wares Arts Fest” will be held Monday, July 1 from noon to 8 p.m. at Mare’s Wares Pottery, 3938 State Hwy 37, with live entertainment, vendors, wine tastings and demonstrations.
Highlights will include live entertainment, vendors, wine tastings and demonstrations.
Live music will include the Yellow Moon jazz trio at noon; Carrie Woodcock, Brock Kuca and Rick Woodward at 2:15 p.m.; Pat Duffy and Scott Fleegle at 4 p.m.; and Tim Evans, Doug Eggelston, Brian Smith and John Carpenter at 6:15 p.m.
Vendors will include wineries, Home Again Farm’s alpacas and Fragile Planet Wildlife Foundation.
Other events will include pony rides and puppet shows, pottery wheel work and raku firing, rug hooking with Helen Condon, chair caning with Bill Balling, psychics and a demonstration by Tracy Cox of custom stringed instrument design and inlay.
Mullin’s Catering, LaMont’s Food Fair, Carriage House Bakery and Not Your Average Cookie will provide treats.
