CANTON -- A “Lost Arts & Forgotten Skills” demonstration event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3-1/2 East Main St. Admission is free.
In advance of the gathering, or at any time, the public is invited to nominate their favorite local craftsperson to participate in the Local Living Festival, which will be held this year on Saturday, Sept. 26 on the Village Green and surrounding indoor venues in Canton.
Demonstrators of practical, rural skills are particularly sought and will be given special placement in the Festival grounds, or indoors if needed.
