OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will offer the “Look Good…Feel Better” program on June 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center.

The program is a community-based, free, national service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help enhance their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Women will get tips about makeup, hair, wigs, turbans and scarves. Each participant receives a complimentary box of beauty products containing items used in the program.

Cosmetologist Clarinda Widrick of Watertown volunteers her time to provide this service.
