POTSDAM -- Around 50 vendors will attend the Buyer Days wholesale only show at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena on Sunday, Oct. 18, giving local businesses a chance to buy from local producers.
The first-ever event of its kind hosted by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA) is slated for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is geared toward retails stores, museums, gift shops and similar businesses.
“This is a great opportunity for vendors to access new markets, and for retailers to buy directly from artisans, meet the producers and learn the stories of their unique wares,” according to a statement from ANCA.
Vendors will offer handmade and locally sourced artisan products.
Some of the same vendors from the Craft, Wine and Food show will be in attendance in addition to several new ones.
Goods will be sold at wholesale prices.
