CANTON -- Local Living Ventures is hosting tours of five St. Lawrence County homes that use mass heaters and rocket stove technology on April 5. It starts in Pyrites and ends in Southville.
According to a news release from Local Living Ventures, the heaters use less wood than conventional wood burners and aren't as likely to cause a fire.
Attendees must RSVP for the locations and itinerary.
The first house will be toured at 10 a.m. and the last at 4 p.m.
