LISBON -- The Local Living Venture will hold a "Raising Chickens For Meat" workshop Saturday, Oct. 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The workshop will cover how to raise and process chickens. In approximately two hours you learn about selecting breeds, raising chicks, and processing and cooking methods. Reservations required.
Donations of $15, or $5 for students, are encouraged.
