CANTON -- The Local Living Venture will hold a traditional maple sugaring party Saturday, March 16, starting at 10 a.m.

Participants will tap the sugar grove at Sow's Ear Farm. Learn to use a hand-drilled tap and the bucket or bag method.

Horses will be used to transport the sap to the sugaring house for boiling.
