CANTON -- An open to the public planning meeting for the Local Living Festival will be held Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Unitarian Universalist Church at 3 1/2 E. Main St.

The festival will take place April 27, 2013.

The group will also be creating a homesteading college, planning a rural skills workshop, and mentoring interns.
