GOUVERNEUR -- A “Bark & Wine 4 the Dog Days of Summer” vendor show and dog walk will be held Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elks Club, Route 11.

The Otter Creek, River Mist, Venditti, Bella Brooke and High Peaks wineries and Canton’s Micro Brewery and Ogdensburg’s McSquard Brewery plan to attend.

The Sugar Shack, River Rat Cheese and Uncle Jim’s Backwoods Goods will also have booths set up, along with several crafters.

A dog walk will also be held, with the top three male and three female dog “pledge collectors” crowned as part of a royal court.

Face painting, food vendor, silent auction, a photographer, bounce house, balloons, chainsaw carving, games and a 50/50 raffle will also be offered.

All dogs must be licensed and up-to-date on all shots, and those walked by a minor must be accompanied by an adult.
