CANTON -- Three artists will be in residence at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., for St. Lawrence County Arts' annual Artists' Studio Tour on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Bill Parmer is a plein air painter who works primarily in northeastern St. Lawrence County, capturing images of farms, rivers, and wetlands. He will set up his easel and demonstrate his technique in TAUNY's gallery.
Kathy Montan is a fiber artist who "paints" with richly colored wool, using the needle felting technique. Her subjects range widely, in representational and abstract modes, according to the inspiration of the day.
Susan Robinson is a wildlife artist whose favorite canvases are pieces of driftwood. She is especially known for her paintings of song birds and wildflowers.
The community is invited to see all three artists demonstrate their techniques from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 4 at The TAUNY Center.
TAUNY's annual Holiday Showcase will also open this day.
