Gray & Gray and Associates Certified Public Accountants, with offices at One Main Street in Canton and 280 Main St. in Massena, will conduct informational sessions on the tax reform act which has passed both houses of Congress and signed by President Trump to become law.

This tax reform act has been called the most extensive tax code revision in decades. The provisions of this act will effect virtually every individual and business filing a tax return for 2018.

The informational sessions will explain many of the most significant provisions of the bill and the effect on taxpayers and businesses.

In addition, the firm’s three certified public accountants, with more than 80 years of combined experience in preparing individual and business tax returns, will be available to answer questions and provide explanation regarding the new provisions of the bill and the effect on 2018 tax returns.

Attendees will also be provided with tax planning tips and suggested steps taxpayers may want to take prior to the end of the 2017 calendar year to best position themselves for their 2017 and 2018 income tax filings.

Two sessions will be held in Canton Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 1 and 4 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Human Services Center at 80 State Highway 310 in the second floor conference room.

The next day, on Thursday, Dec. 28, two sessions will be held in Massena at 2 and 6 p.m at the Club II Restaurant conference room at 10 W. Orvis St. in downtown Massena.

There will be a nominal registration fee of $10 for clients of the firm and $20 for those who are not currently clients.
