POTSDAM -- “Living Better With Diabetes” will be offered by the Health Initiative at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital primary care offices, Lawrence Avenue, on Tuesday from March 8 through April 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. A light snack is provided.
The six-week program is for groups of participants who are living with diabetes. Family members, friends or caregivers are welcome to attend.
Topics covered include nutrition, physical activity, problem solving, short term goal setting, medication usage, and dealing with the frustration and other difficult emotions that come with living with a long term health condition.
