Live music, games, food, auctions, raffles planned Sunday at 32nd summer social in Norfolk

NORFOLK -- The Parish Center of the Visitation and St. Raymond will host their 32nd summer social at Father Amyot Parish Center, 3 Morris St., Sunday, Aug. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be live music by Sweet Adelines and midway games for all ages.

There will also be games of chance, a silent auction for adults, a Chinese auction for kids, bingo, raffles and more.

The meal will include hamburgers, hotdogs, sausages, a variety of salads, corn on the cob, beans, beverages and a sampling of foods from Chinese, Italian, Irish, Mexican, Hungarian and French style foods.

The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for ages 5-10. The meal also includes a make-your-own-sundae.

An alternate meal of a hotdog, chips and beverage for kids will cost $2.

Make-your-own-sundaes are free for kids under age five.
