Little River Community School to host eighth annual online auction Feb. 25 through March 10

CANTON -- Little River Community School will host its eighth annual online auction from Feb. 25 through March 10.

To view and bid, visit http://www.littleriverschool.org. Local businesses and friends have donated nearly 100 items, services, and gift certificates to the auction. All of the sales will benefit the Little River Community School.

Featured items include: 6-Week Yoga Basics class from Northern Light Yoga; carriage driving lesson from Honey Dew Acres; massages from Helen Kenny of The Knead of Life Massage; dermabrasion facial treatments from Jay Schecter MD; an acupuncture treatment from Shelby Connelly Fisher of New Possibilities Traditional Acupuncture Center; holistic health counseling from Paula Youmell of Hands On Health Holistic Healing; 2 spaghetti dinners from Sergi's in Canton; a bottle of wine and dinner from 1844 House; a massage from Jean Williams-Bergen; a massage from Valerie Summer; several pounds coffee from the Partridge Cafe; a weekly box of in-season vegetables for the month of July, and Learn to Cook and Sunday Dinner from Birdsfoot Farm; pizza from Pizza Hut and4 and 8 class Capoeira packages for ages 5-10 from North Country Capoeira.

Other items to bi don include ceramic handwarmer mugs, pie plate and loaf pan from Ashley House; Express Lube Plus from TJ Toyota; hardwood cutting board from Kathleen Buckley; monthly loaf of bread for a year from the Potsdam Consumer Co-op; bag of bird seed and bag of chicken layer pellets from Poulin Grain; Char Broil Gas Grill from Lowe's; 12 raspberry plants from St. Lawrence Nursery; organic Equal Exchange coffee, teas, chocolate and hot cocoa; knit baby socks by Isis Melhado; six-week session of Strength and Tone from the St. Lawrence Fitness Center; Brew Station coffee maker from Rob and Heather Bernhard; a chocolate torte baked by Sue Powers; Songs to Keep CD and song book from TAUNY, Batplane model from Misty Hollow, Glow Signature Facial from Glow Skincare and Spa; basket of handmade soaps and maple syrup from Adirondack Fragrance and Flavor Farm; and a platter of cookies from Artemis Bakers.

Also, there are great gift certificates from the Blackbird Cafe, Village Wine and Liquor, the Brewer Bookstore, Wight and Patterson, Thai Cuisine, Jernabi, the Price Chopper in Canton, UPS Store, Hot Tamali, Total Image, Potsdam Agway, TAUNY, Chips Place, Da Kitchen, Celtic Knot, Jake's on the Water, and Nature's Storehouse.

“We would like to thank all of the friends and businesses that have given so generously to our school. With your help, we hope to make this auction the most successful one yet,” school officials said.
