LISBON -- Lights on the River, originally scheduled to end Sunday, Dec. 22, will open tonight for one last glimpse of this year’s lighting displays at Lisbon Beach.
The holiday event was closed the last two nights, while the Ice Storm blanketed St. Lawrence County in snow and ice and law enforcement banned non-emergency travel.
At least 85 lighting displays were expected to appear as part of this year’s event, which began Dec. 14.
Santa and his elves have made appearances at the event, and a Susie Q rag doll has played hide-and-seek with local children.
