LISBON -- The Lights on the River holiday display will kick off Dec. 15 and continue through Dec. 23 at Lisbon Beach and Campground.
This year marks the ninth event.
Lights on The River features as many as 75 holiday light displays made by local businesses and families. Entry is free, but donations are accept with the proceeds benefiting local food banks and charities. Non-perishable food items are also accepted.
The among the organizations that will benefit are Canton Church and Community, Canton Neighborhood Center, Gouverneur Neighborhood Center, Hammond Neighborhood Center, Heuvelton Food Pantry, Lisbon Food Pantry, Massena Neighborhood Center, Norwood-Norfolk-Raymondville Outreach, Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, Potsdam Neighborhood Center, Richville Food Pantry, and Waddington Family and Resource Center.
