CHIPMAN CORNERS – The Lifetree Café, 35 County Route 33, will discuss God and homosexuality on Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. with filmed stories.
The program, titled "God and Gays: An Hour of Civil Conversation" features stories of Jeff Chu, author of Does Jesus Really Love Me? A Gay Christian's Pilgrimage in Search of God in America, and Christopher Yuan, author of Out of a Far Country.
Yuan, now HIV-Positive and a professor at Moody Bible Institute, shares his story of finding a Christian faith and wrestling with his sexuality as a gay man. Chu, after crisscrossing America speaking with a wide range of Christian groups, says there are days he believe Jesus loves him, days when I doubt that.
Snacks and beverages are available. Info: Noel Allen at 323-1430 or nyallen@twcny.rr.com.
