CHIPMAN -- Scotch Presbyterian Church, 35 County Route 33, will host a Lifetree Café discussion on body image Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. “Hey, Good Lookin’,” a short film about artist Adam Schultz, will be shown. Schultz sculpts plus-size female figures.

The film also includes advice from a counselor. Snacks and beverages will be offered.

Lifetree Café is a place where people can gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.

Everything from politics to prayer will be covered.

The hour-long sessions typically include a short original film and guided conversation. A local host directs the hour. Topics, which change weekly, focus on popular life issues.

Lifetree Café will offer a new episode to entice interactive conversations every Monday at 7 p.m.
