Learn more about life away from the battlefield during the period of the Civil War when Lucien Plante speaks at the SLCHA’s next Patricia Harrington Carson Brown Bag Lunch Series at noon Thursday, April 21, at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St.
The event is free. Bring a lunch and enjoy a beverage and dessert provided by the SLCHA.
Lucien Plante is a local author, retired engineer, and veteran of the Marines. His most recent novel, Boys of Summer, deals with the members of two families during this period.
