CANTON -- The Local Living Venture and Birdsfoot Farm will host a workshop on making fresh mozzarella cheese on Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon near Canton.
It will include lessons from Emlyn Crocker, a senior conservation biology major at St. Lawrence University.One of her favorite hobbies is cheese-making, and she has experience making yogurt, kefir, butter, mozzarella, chevre, yogurt cheese and Swiss cheese.
Suggested donation is $17/general public, $30/couple, $10/student.
