The event is part of the Patricia Harrington Carson Brown Bag Lunch Series. Bring your own lunch and enjoy a beverage and dessert provided by SLCHA. Van Horne is a retired nursing instructor and a dedicated quilter who prefers reading biographies and delving into the private lives of famous people.
She has taught courses for Stimulating Opportunities After Retirement (SOAR) on the British royal family, the Vanderbilts, the flu epidemic of 1918, and the wives of American Presidents.
