CANTON -- A "Bow Hunting Techniques and Field Signs: Woods Walk & Overview of Equipment, Stalking, and Stand Selection" workshop offered by Joseph L. Brant for the Local Living Venture will be held Saturday, April 25.
This session, from 1 to 4 p.m., covers everything a bow hunter needs to be aware of in order to get close to their quarry, focusing on whitetail specifically, but useful for other quarry as well.
Brant has been hunting whitetail deer for over 20 years, exclusively with traditional equipment for the last 10 years. He has hunted in many different locations throughout the state.
Brant is a NYS DEC bow hunter safety course instructor, though it should noted that this workshop is not a safety course, and does not include safety certification, though some elements may overlap.
Contact 347-4223 or LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com with a phone number and email address to register.
There fee is $22, $40 couple/family of two or $10 for student.
