OGDENSBURG -- Learn more about blacksmiths and other artisans of the Civil War period when Martin Snye speaks and demonstrates his skills at the next North Country Civil War Round Table Sunday, May 21, 2 p.m., at the River Forge, 3063 State Highway 37.
At the River Forge, Martin Snye uses nineteenth century tools and techniques to make reproduction historic ironware, as well as modern decorative items.
Visitors who own items with Civil War provenance are encouraged to bring them to the event for a “show and tell” session before the talk.
The North Country Civil War Round Table is a program of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association.
