POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County League of Women Voters will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m., at Clarkson University’s B.H. Snell room 127. All league members and interested community members - men and women - are welcome.
The meeting will focus on scheduling fall candidate forums and candidate events following the results of the Sept. 14 primary elections.
A number of community organizations are planning to cooperate to provide voter education events and forums to examine the issues and the candidates' positions prior to Election Day.
As a non-partisan organization, the LWV welcomes citizens of any declared or undeclared political orientation.
The league focuses on voters and voting: this meeting will work on candidate forums and information for the fall elections in St. Lawrence County.
