EDWARDS -- The Edwards Lions Club will host lawnmower races behind Jim's Auto Shop, 101 New St. on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m.
The club's chicken barbecue will be served along with other food and drink beginning at noon.
Event organizers encourage spectators to bring their own chairs.
