POTSDAM -- A Latin dance party featuring the Crane Latin Ensemble will take place Saturday, Nov. 1, at Between the Buns, 6 Elm St. There will be a 20-piece Latin band. Salsa dance lessons will be from 9 to 10 p.m. and music and dancing will run from 10 p.m. to midnight. There will be a cash bar and an equal exchange chocolate sale. Tickets are $7 for students and $12 for adults. Advance tickets can be bought at Northern Music and Video and Nature's Storehouse in Canton.
Co-sponsors include Five Elements Living, SUNY Potsdam International Organization, La Casa Latina (SLU), Clarkson Spanish Club and Commons College (SLU).
Proceeds benefit the Little River Community School.
