Kinney Drugs locations in St. Lawrence County are holding a drug take-back day Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The take-back program is for people to dispose of drugs they no longer need rather than throwing them away to end up in landfills and the environment.
At Kinney’s stores at Canton Street, Ogdensburg; Clinton Street, Gouverneur; State Rt. 310, Canton; and Maple Street, Potsdam, the program includes all prescription medications including controlled substances.
All other Kinney Drugs locations can take back non-controlled medications that day.
Nothing with a needle can be accepted.
