COLTON – “Kids Tour Through the Trees Hike” is slated for Friday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at Stone Valley Trail at the Riverside Drive Trailhead.
Explore the trails of Stone Valley while learning about native tree species. Attendees will be provided with materials to make a “tree book,” filled with the leaves, bark rubbings, and drawings they will obtain on the walk.
RSVP to India Harvey at natureupnorth@gmail.com. Participants should bring bug spray and water along. The group will meet at 10 a.m. at the Stone Valley Trailhead on the fire station side.
