CANTON – “From the Tune to the Table” will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. The event is a hands-on workshop in which kids learn to play along on "Shortnin' Bread" and other North Country tunes with common kitchen items turned folk percussion instruments, while also helping bake up some of the real thing in the oven.
Fiddler Gretchen Koehler and banjoist and TAUNY Program Director Camilla Ammirati will lead the event.
The cost is $10 per participants or pair, if a child is being accompanied by an adult.
Walk-ins welcome.
