OGDENSBURG, NY - Kid's Place, the children's museum of the Frederic Remington Art Museum, will join in the celebration of the “River Shiver Festival” by offering crafts and activities Feb. 15-23.
Art activities are matched to the activities taking place city-wide.
Polar bear crafts will take place Feb. 15 and toddler time will be offered Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a story and related craft.
Participants can build and decorate a mini log cabin on Feb. 19 in honor of the log cabin dinner held at the Dobisky Center.
Try your hand at "snow golf" on Feb. 22. Ongoing attractions include a large igloo hand-built by staff out of recycled materials in the classroom and "ice fishing.”
Kid's Place, 303 Washington St., will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekend hours of 1 to 4 p.m.
